Dr. Amelie Biskup

Dr. Amelie Biskup was born and raised in the beautiful mountains of Colorado with nine brothers and sisters and numerous foster children. From an early age, Amelie observed her Mother cure ailments of the foster children such as ADHD, acne, behavioral problems, child obesity, mal-nourishment, etc. with diet, nutritional supplements, and exercise. Dr. Amelie's Mother was a self-taught nutritionist who inspired Amelie to pursue the field of holistic and preventative health care.

Amelie completed her undergraduate work at University of Colorado. She earned a Bachelor of Science with emphasis in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry. Following graduation she moved to Dallas to attend Parker College of Chiropractic where she successfully obtained a Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Dr. Amelie is Nationally Board Certified in Chiropractic and Physical Therapy. Her focus is on disease and pain prevention, a wellness approach with emphasis in nutrition, exercise, detoxification, and overall well-being. She specializes in Maternity and Pediatric Chiropractic Care and is certified in the Webster Maternity Technique.

On a personal note, Dr. Amelie moved and settled in Flower Mound with her husband who is a band director at Flower Mound High School. She enjoys skiing, snowboarding, running, aerobics classes, singing, Latin dancing, and time spent with family and friends.

Christie "Daisy" DeSimone, LMT, CLT

Christie "Daisy" DeSimone is a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist from Lewisville, TX. Her massages incorporate myofascial release and trigger point therapy to help prepare patients for their chiropractic adjustments. She also works with people who just want to feel better, relax and unwind.

Christie is trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) Therapy - Vodder Method. Since June 2008, she has worked with individuals on a number of different issues, including (but not limited to) sinus congestion, chest congestion, migraine headaches, joint swelling, arthritis, fibromyalgia, cystic fibrosis, and fibrocystic breast disease. She recently completed 135 hours of training in Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) and is now able to help patients who have lymphedema and require special bandaging and compression garments. Combining MLD and CDT, she can help reduce swollen legs and arms so individuals can return to a better quality of life.

Christie resides in Lewisville with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys riding and racing motorcycles, watching old movies, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Christina Johnson,CA/Secretary

Christina is a recent college graduate, newlywed, and believer in whole body health. She believes in treating the root issues of the heart and the body, and the healing that can come from such a practice. She loves to learn and help others, and hopes to one day serve others through the field of holistic health.

Christina graduated from the University of North Texas with a BA in Psychology and a minor in English literature in May 2010. Life has since taken her many other directions, including being diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Through the journey of learning what works best for her in her treatment, she has developed an appreciation and interest in nutrition, exercise, counseling, and the whole body picture regarding health. Her aspirations regarding a career are now leaning more towards a pursuit of certification in Biblical counseling in conjunction with nutritional and homeopathic therapy, and she hopes to be able to help and encourage others through her own experiences and discoveries.

Christina resides in Denton,TX with her husband Gunnar, who works at Pender’s Music and plays in the local band Darcy. She enjoys cooking, reading, yoga, traveling and relaxing with her husband.
